Ultimately a Mexican restaurant but there are many other non-Mexican menu items to choose from like fish and chips, hamburgers and excellent fresh cut fries.
I find most of the Mexican dishes kinda bland and unimpressive but the chips and fresh made salsa are quite good.
Supposedly the breakfasts are awesome though I've yet to try them.

Ordered lunch. Literally I was the only one there aside from the waitress. Ordered simple Mexican lunch. 20 min nothing. Zip. I tipped the waitress for the chips and salsa. And left.

Pepe's food is pretty good, and the portion sizes are large, but that's it. It is exceptionally expensive - and if you pay with card they will charge you a dollar extra and still expect you to tip for their poor service.
Having lived in Mexico for a couple years I can safely say this is not remotely close to Mexican food. My wife and I arrived here since El Tapitio (a much better choice just down the street) was closed. We got there at 10:23am but couldn't even order a side of rice off the lunch menu since they don't start that until 10:30am. A couple arrived just after 10:30 asking for breakfast for which they were also turned down, our breakfast arriving just minutes later. The service was not good; maybe the waitress was having a bad day, but if not she is in the wrong line of work. Even with Powell's limited eating out choices I won't be back and I cannot recommend. If El Tapitio's is closed, go for pizza.
