Took a small group here to celebrate a big work milestone. Great experience - they were ready for our group with a reservation, service really a wonderful balance of attentive and not intrusive. They adjusted to our pace. Food was outstanding across the board, and at the end, a nice visit from the chef. Nice cocktails and pretty diverse on-tap beer selection. Really liked this place. Small, quiet, easy to converse with each other -- we'll be back.

Came here almost at closing. They didn't turn us away. Took such great care of us and the food was unbeatable! Steaks and really anything on menu is fresh and amazing. There were 4 ot us and ordered 2 steaks, 1 salmon, and another something random can't remember but man we were all so happy and FULL. Will be back for sure!

Our group had a variety off the menu: fish, steak and Elk burgers. All was seasoned, cooked and plated beyond our expectation.

This is it. Great Owners and Staff. Seriously Lander and Fremont County truly is the best place to raise a Family and meet the greatest of people but we needed The Antler.
This is truly a great experience. The Food is absolutely The Best. Taking my wife Rachel to The Antler for our 31st Anniversary.

(Edit: this was from about a month ago) I really want to like this place. The atmosphere was great. I paid 38 dollars for an overdone steak seasoned with salt and pepper as far as I could tell. It was nothing special. I ordered medium rare, got medium well.
On the positive side:
My wife's chicken sandwich was outstanding. The pickles were very good, and worth mentioning on their own.
My son got a burger of some sort, which he enjoyed.
Will I go back? Probably not unless somebody else is buying. It is hard to overcome a first impression.
