(First part from wifey, I'm not a fan of non-meat food) I'm typically not a fan of soups or "yum-yum" sauce from Japanese restaurants, but both were exceptional here. With my chicken hibachi, which was delicious, I especially noticed that the zucchini was not overcooked as it typically is at other places which was a very welcome surprise. (My time) Very fresh and relaxing environment, great service, food was of exceptional quality, and even the bathrooms had a beautiful look. There are regular sit-down, sushi bar, and hibachi options. It's a good distance from home but we'll be coming back, I have several different meats I have yet to conquer here *drool*

My husband and I stopped in to eat here one night. Hibachi places are some of our fav places to go! This is by far the worst Japanese steakhouse we have ever had. And we have had several in different states! So to start out we ordered waters. And my husband did get a mixed drink. He said the drink wasn't bad. I am also an avid sushi lover. Not knowing the sushi quality here, I took the safe route and just ordered a Crunchy Shrimp Roll. It's really hard to mess that up. It was the most bland sushi I have ever had. Literally no flavor and barely any Eel sauce, which was sweet and the only thing keeping me eating the roll. Next we were served our ginger salads and soup. The plain broth soup was honestly the best thing I had there, and still not the best I've ever had. The ginger salad dressing was okay, but lettuce was in larger chunks and there wasn't enough dressing. For the hibachi, I ordered steak and my husband ordered chicken. Both meals were extremely bland and just literally no flavor. My steak was cooked appropriately though but just didn't want to eat due to the taste. The fried rice was bland as well, not even the yum yum sauce helped it. Our hibachi chef that cooked in front of us wasn't pleasant at all. Never offered refills on our sauce containers and never offered the ginger dressing for the steak, I had to ask. He wasn't really interested in us and just kept looking around the restaurant never making eye contact with us. He did the normal volcano trick where you stack the onion, but that's really all he did show wise. This was definitely our worst hibachi experience, well as sushi experience. Would not return under any circumstance. *sorry for the lack of photos, but I promise you aren't missing anything **also if you are wanting good hibachi, take the extra couple of minutes and drive to Kobe off of 280, Stix or Sumo which are by the Galleria in Hoover

A one-star rating is still too high. I've been here twice, and both times were horrible. The first time, we ordered off the menu, and I ended up with severe food poisoning that weekend. The second time was today - thought we'd give the hibachi side a try since I'd heard good things. Still horrible. My husband's glass was dirty, and my fork had food bits on it. The chef was looking everywhere but our table the entire time - he was definitely more interested in what was going on with other people/tables and was not engaged AT ALL with us, his actual customers. He did not speak, did not do any of the usual tricks, and was just not entertaining or fun. This was very disappointing because that was the first hibachi experience for some of the people in our group. 10 minutes after the chef leaves, we're handed fortune cookies, to-go boxes, and our tickets. WHILE STILL EATING. We were basically herded out like cattle. Overall, the worst experience ever. I will never return, and will never recommend this place to anyone.

Food was fantastic. Quick service. Reasonable price. You really can’t ask for much more.

Some of the worst customer service I've ever had. They forgot the sushi I ordered and the hibachi I ordered steak and scallops the steak was well done when I asked for rare and the scallops were undercooked. In the two shrimp that came with it were cold when they were supposed to be grilled.
